It seems that this short journey here determines whether we are fit to become kings, lords, and priests for eternity, or for just a short while right here on this plagued-with-wars-and-suffering planet.

As the chase after riches continues suffering of the little ones is not conciliated because selfishness has gained the upper hand. Therefore from dust we came and into dust we shall turn; what we have chased after will become our inheritance. Or...

We break this vicious cycle and heed the words of the Father's firstborn and follow in His footsteps and eventually become like Him.

And if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. (Luke 6:32)

What makes us into sons and daughters is acting not on the natural instinct as animals do, but on the holy intellect. This holy intellect is developed through an act that stems from understanding, knowledge and then this act is brought forth in wisdom. Wisdom belongs to the Almighty, and as His children we are His light and the seed, which we must allow to germinate and mature.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, in order to receive back the same amount. (Luke 6:34)
